Message from the CEO
We have long held a close relationship with our friends in New Zealand via INFINZ. I am really pleased to let you know that we have recently signed our first Memorandum of Understanding with INFINZ which not only shows how we intend to work together and learn from each other, but offers some benefits to FTA and INFINZ members visiting each other’s countries or attending events. The MOU will be available to view on our website soon, but some of the highlights are – ability for visiting members to attend events free or at local member rate, registration to events, conferences and seminars at local member rate, and member rate on major Conference for all members not only those domiciled locally.
I’m also really pleased to advise that our Mentor program is now up and running, with a significant increase in participants this year. From this program we hope to expand next year into a second layer of mentorship guided by this year’s mentee’s, as well as an advisory group to help us deliver targeted services to our younger or less experienced members. A big thanks to all participants, but especially our Mentors, who give up their time and experience to give back to those on their way up.
Lastly, please watch out for information on our State based networking nights. We are working on the logistics of these at the moment, including guest speakers, with State Committee’s – the first of these will be advertised shortly.
Have a great month.
